Sixth U.S. manufacturing facility added as OMCO Solar grows

The second manufacturing plant in Alabama and the sixth in the nation will be opened by OMCO Solar, a factory-direct manufacturer of solar trackers and fixed-tilt systems. Four new production systems for OMCO Solar’s Fixed Tilt Choice and Origin Tracker products will be found at the new facility.
Additionally, First Solar Inc. has chosen OMCO Solar to produce and provide the module backrails for its Series 7 modules. The new Alabama factory will manufacture the backrails.
Over $10 million was invested in the new facility by OMCO Solar. It will have a footprint of around 170,000 square feet when it is finished, and 100 people will have jobs there. This substantial growth will support
