Is TOPCon the Real Deal or Just a Trendy Acronym? 🤔

Okay, solar enthusiasts, I need your honest opinions! Been researching panel types (yes, I’m on a first-name basis with Google at this point 😅), and this TOPCon technology keeps popping up.

Now, I’m usually the first one to roll my eyes at fancy new terms (marketing hype, anyone? 🙄). BUT, some of the claimed benefits of TOPCon panels are pretty tempting, like better low-light performance and higher efficiency.

Still, a few things have me wondering:

Is this tech actually proven, or is it too new? Don’t want to be a guinea pig for experimental panels on my roof!

Price seems to be a factor. Are the potential long-term gains worth the upfront investment?

What about real-world experiences? The marketing materials sound great, but I want the unfiltered truth!
