Pegasus Solar debuts clamp that reduces mounts on pitched roof projects

SkipRail is an extension of the Pegasus Rail System. It’s a single clamp that can eliminate entire rows of rail, mounts, clamps and roof penetrations.
It eliminates the warehousing, transport and installation of two miles of rail. Most significantly, it removes the effort and risk of drilling, mounting and sealing 1,500 roof penetrations. That’s per crew!”
The SkipRail system – rated for 160-mph winds and snow loads up to 40 psf – can eliminate rails three, five, seven and so on, from installations on pitched roofs in most of the country. For homes in higher-load geographies, installers can use Pegasus Rail with the standard dual-rail method. SkipRail works on composition shingle, tile, metal and other pitched roof types, low and steep slopes and both portrait and landscape arrays. It configures around roof obstructions such as vents.
