The Solar+Storage Project is Agreed Upon by EDF Renewables North America

A 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) between El Paso Electric (EPE), a regional energy supplier in west Texas and southern New Mexico, and EDF Renewables North America, an independent power producer and service provider, has been signed. The 150 MW AC Milagro Solar Project and the 75 MW/300 MWh Milagro Storage Project, both of which are expected to begin operating commercially in 2025, are covered under the PPA.
During the busiest construction period, the Milagro Solar+Storage project, which is situated on undeveloped private land in the Santa Teresa region of Doa Ana County, New Mexico, anticipates producing about 200 employment. The project also anticipates producing about 469,500 MWh of renewable energy yearly.
